You walk into the room wearing The Darby jacket and the room reorganises itself around you. A Western silhouette in sturdy khaki, covered entirely in acrylic moulded flowers, glass beads and stones. The base is structured, almost military. The surface is a garden. Darby. The park. The jacket that walked into nature and never came back. Magnetic buttons close the front. What opens is everything else.

The Craft

Acrylic moulded floral forms applied across the full body of a sturdy viscose-cotton uniform fabric. Glass beads and stones set among the flowers at key points. Magnetic button closure at the front. The botanical embellishment is layered: flowers first, beads and stones second, building depth rather than a flat surface.

"I started with a cowboy jacket because it is one of the most masculine silhouettes in the wardrobe. Then I covered it in flowers. The Darby jacket is what happens when those two things stop fighting."
