ANIMA & ANIMUS is ROSANI’s debut runway collection, first presented at Lakmē Fashion Week Gen Next 2024. The collection explores the space between masculinity and femininity through sculptural tailoring, embroidery and fluid movement. Rather than treating opposites as fixed, ANIMA & ANIMUS brings them into dialogue - structure with softness, precision with emotion, presence with ease.

A collection shaped by contrast

At the heart of ANIMA & ANIMUS is a study in contrast. Tailored silhouettes hold their shape with intention, while softer interventions introduce movement, tactility and vulnerability. Floral motifs, embroidery and crinoline-inspired elements appear within a menswear framework that feels considered rather than theatrical. The result is a wardrobe that does not ask the wearer to choose one side of themselves, but creates space to hold both.

Sculptural tailoring, embroidery and fluid form

The collection brings together sharp lines, boxy volumes and refined handwork. Jackets are designed to frame the body with clarity, while trousers introduce length, ease and movement. Embroidery is used not as decoration alone, but as part of the garment’s expression and structure. Across the collection, proportion, texture and finish work together to build quiet confidence.

Like ROSANI itself, ANIMA & ANIMUS is shaped between India and Europe - informed by Indian expression, Milanese precision and Berlin’s fearless spirit. The collection reflects the brand’s wider language of architectural contrast, fluid identity and detail-led craft.
