The Craft

Biscuit cotton check with metallic embroidery applied across the body and panel detailing at the front. The embroidery follows the geometry of the check pattern. Panelling at the front creates a structural line that reads as a second layer of construction.

"The Nam jacket was about layering two conversations on the same garment. The check is the familiar one. The metallic embroidery is the one I wanted to have. I read them as two languages, the pattern and the surface work, and the jacket is the translation between them."
